Metro-North Harlem Line Schedule
New York City commuters can either travel via Katonah, Goldens Bridge or Purdys train stations. Katonah, while offering the shortest train ride, is often inconvenient for parking, but the HART shuttle operates from Main Street to the Katonah train station daily. Goldens Bridge, one stop north of Katonah, offers ample parking and is also frequented by Ridgefield commuters. For people living in the north end of the town, Purdys train station, off Route 116, is another good option. Parking at Katonah and Goldens Bridge is handled by Allright Corp at 888-682-PARK.
Metro-North New Haven Schedule
You can also choose to use the Branchville train station off Route 7 in Ridgefield, located about five minutes down Branchville Road from the center of town. There are no ticket machines. Parking is handled by the Town of Ridgefield (203-431-2700). There is a wheelchair ramp to the platform. The station is served by Westport Star Taxi (227-3063). Call in advance.
By Car
Manhattan is an easy drive via 684 to the Hutchinson River Parkway or the Saw Mill Parkway and down the Westside Highway. For more information, consult your GPS.
Metro-North New Haven Schedule
New Canaan commuters have two choices when commuting to New York City, both on the New Haven line of Metro North. Both stations require possible transfer at Stamford Train station for travel to GCT.
The New Canaan station is located at 118 Elm Street. There is no staffed ticket office at this location, but there are two ticket machines located in the middle of the platform west of the station building. The station is fully ADA accessible. Parking is offered through the Town of New Canaan. Daily rates are available but there is a long waiting list for permits. Call 203-594-3040 for more information.
The Talmadge Hill station is located at 1 Talmadge Hill Road. There is no staffed ticket office and no machines at this location. The Town of New Canaan operates the parking lot. Daily parking is available and there is no wait for a permit. call 203-594-3040 for more information.
By Car
There are multiple routes to NYC from New Canaan. Most commonly, take the CT-15 to the CT-95 into Manhattan, or take CT-15 to the Hutchinson River Parkway and onto the Westside Highway. For more information, consult your GPS.
Metro-North New Haven Schedule
Depending on where you live in Redding, you can travel to GCT via the Branchville, Wilton, Cannondale or Redding stations on the Danbury Branch of the Metro-North New Haven line.
Redding station is located on Long Ridge Road, a couple of minutes from Route 53. It has full ADA access, but no ticket machines or windows. Annual or daily parking is available for a fee. Annual parking permits (as available) can be purchased Monday through Saturday at the recycling center, or ordered at the town clerk’s office during regular business hours. Cannondale Station is on Cannon Road, just off Route 7, adjoining the Cannondale Village Shopping Center. There are no ticket machines and no staffed ticket office. Parking at Wilton and Cannondale is the province of the town (203-563-0100).
By Car

The second – Green’s Farms – is located at 2 Post Office Lane and does not offer full ADA access. Ticket machines are available but there is no staffed ticket office. Parking is offered by the Westport Parking Authority at 203-341-6052. This station serves Green’s Farms Academy.
